LEGENDS OF THE BOILING ISLES - PLAYTIME

An outer being known as the Collector has been freed during the Day of Unity ! The devil and their army of Toymakers rapidly took over the Boiling Isles, changing into toys any Demon, Witch, animal or monster that they could find ! This was the beginning of a titan-wide disaster. A few months in, you, and a bunch of other Hexside students, have escaped the attention of the Child of the Stars. It is now up to you to gather resources, save anyone stuck out there, and attack the forts of the enemy ! Maybe someday, all these small actions against the Collector will help someone fight back, and free the Boiling Isles from the terror of the Playtime.

Legends of the Boiling Isles - Playtime is a standalone spin-off of the Legends of the Boiling Isles - A TOH TTRPG, inspired by the Disney animated series  The Owl House, created by Dana Terrace. Where the original game was a classic roleplaying game à la Dungeons & Dragons with a simplified game system, Playtime will focus on very short games, and survival. The goal of the characters will be to get to the end of their mission alive, an hard task, as it is mainly a survival game, seconded of a role playing game, but newcomers will be happy to see this game was made extremely simple, so anyone can pick up the game and play it with a few friends whenever they feel !

2-5 players are recommended for this game, but you can have more participants if you feel like it ! It shouldn’t last more than 2 hours to complete a campaign. This short manual will provide all the rules the players and the game master need to know, even if you never played a role playing game before, you should be able to pick it up quickly thanks to the dedicated General Rules and Beginner’s Tips sections !
